Recently, we have received numerous complaints from fellow tenants about individuals impersonating representatives from various official authorities, including Barnsley Council. Alarmingly, these individuals have gained unauthorized access to residential properties, raising serious concerns about the safety and well-being of individuals.

These impersonators often present themselves convincingly, dressed in professional attire, which has enabled them to deceive residents on several occasions. Unfortunately, this has led to incidents of attempted burglary and theft within our community, making it crucial for us to enhance our security procedures.

In light of these troubling developments, we strongly urge you to be vigilant and take necessary precautions to safeguard your home. Please remember that our authorized agents will always contact you to schedule appointments with at least 24 hours' notice and will always be wearing the agency's official ID. Always verify any entry requests against this policy.

To further protect yourself, we kindly ask that you share our contact numbers with anyone who may request access to your property. This way, if someone claims to represent a legitimate authority, we can collaborate to confirm their identity and assure that they are who they claim to be. Conversely, should they attempt to bypass this verification process, it is a strong indication that they may not have genuine intentions and are false.
